CFF Short FILM COMMISSION Now Open for 2021

Clones Film Festival, in association with Clones Credit Union, wishes to further develop its support for film production in the town, and County Monaghan, by commissioning an original short film, shot in Clones and the surrounding areas in 2021.

Under this commission by Clones Film Festival, an award of €4,000 will be made towards the cost of the film production; scripting, shooting, editing, and screening.

The Short Film will then be one of the highlights of this year’s festival, taking centre stage on the closing night of Clones Film Festival (24th October 2021).

Short film, short documentary, and short animation will all be considered.

Applications are invited for original script ideas from filmmakers at all stages of their development.

Due to developing Covid-19 regulations, a review of this competition will take place closer to the deadlines outlines below. All entrants will be updated as decisions are made.
